You are welcome

Do you have any pics, links, stories, tips, observations thoughts or even secrets you'd like to share. I'm sure if Woods had ears, and I'm sure they do, they'd have a lot to say!

One day during my meanderings I came across a young chap sat at the 'Beach' trying his hand at fishing in Sandhole Brook. He had that hangdog look on his face and I asked "How's it going mate?" he replied "Not so bad, though everyday's Fishing Day but not everyday  is Catching Day!"

OK, not a cataclysmic event, but wisdom profound nonetheless. An observation of life in general when our aspiratons are sometimes unfulfilled. More to the point a typical happenstance that can present itself when wandering through a typically natural communal resource and general hangout that the Woods represents, away from the hustle and bustle. Where sometimes we just sit and think, and sometimes we just sit :-)

A very attractive aspect of such a space is that it brings together disparate groups of people, irrespective of status, role, history or connections - we all have one thing in common, the enjoyment of the solace and spiritual replenishment natural green spaces provide, and there is quite simply no substitue for that....

Hello All,
I have some exciting news! but I can't tell you yet...  I promise I will as soon as I can

COMMUNITY BOOKLET
I have been promoting the 'Community Booklet' idea and have had very positive feedback, as well as many wishing to get involved.

The response indicates that the booklet will be an asset to Glossop, and should reveal just how divers, friendly and interesting Glossop is.

I am looking to start putting the 'Community Booklet' together, and would appreciate your support in sending my your information as soon as possible.

I would also appreciate it if people can spread the news about the booklet, I am looking to make the booklet inclusive and have something of interest to everyone, so the more that get involved the better.

Thank you, Nicola
